ATHLETIC fEuzion-Athletic focuses on the players athletic ability with the three key areas as follows:
STRENGTH- The players strength phase covers eleven key areas, some detailed below:
- AEROBIC- Aerobic endurance focused on the development of endurance required to efficiently sustain 90 plus minutes of game play. WEIGHTS-Weights and weight training focuses on Strength and power in the players development.
- PLYOMETRICS- Plyometric is the development of elastic strength/power producing large amounts of force quickly/explosive strength, it is quick powerful movement involving a system of reactive exercises and an eccentric contraction, followed immediately by an explosive concentric contraction.
- BODY CORE FIT- Body Core Fit is a circuit training process inclusive of five or more exercises performed with short rest periods between them for either a set number of repetitions or a prescribed amount of time. One circuit set is when all of the chosen exercises have been completed. Multiple circuits can be performed in one training session.
AGILITY- The players agility phase covers seven key areas some detailed below:
- DIRECTIONAL AGILITY- The players ability to move directionally effectively and efficiently around the pitch. Agility facilitates sharp movements with ease.
